Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), FSSC 22000 V5.1 represents a comprehensive approach to food safety risk management throughout the food supply chain. The standard covers food and feed safety management systems as well as transportation and on-site storage where relevant.

What’s new in FSSC 22000 V5.1?
FSSC 22000 V5.1 takes into consideration the GFSI scheme updates, in addition to strengthening requirements for CB performance as part of continuous improvement. Audits for FSSC 22000 V5.1 can take place from 1 April 2021.

Remote audit: know your options
Our technology enables us to audit your business remotely, in accordance with FSSC 22000 criteria. When on-site visits aren’t available, fully remote audits are an option for existing FSSC 22000 certification holders at sites due renewal audits, regular surveillance audits, transition audits and follow up activity for non-conformities, excluding critical non-conformities. Conducted by trained food safety specialists, our remote audits are thorough yet practical and deliver the value you would expect from an on-site visit.
