LRQA has achieved an EcoVadis Gold rating, placing the business among the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability performance.
Building on last year's Silver rating, the Gold rating recognises the progress LRQA has made in strengthening its sustainability performance and responsible business practices.
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of business sustainability ratings, assessing organisations across four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Companies are evaluated across a series of dimensions including their policies, actions and measurable outcomes, receiving an overall score out of 100.
The Gold rating provides independent recognition of LRQA's approach to sustainability and responsible business practices across its operations.
Lani Hollander, Global Sustainability Partner at LRQA, said:
"Achieving an EcoVadis Gold rating is a significant milestone for LRQA and reflects the commitment of colleagues across our business. It demonstrates the progress we've made in strengthening our sustainability performance and is a proud milestone.”
Lisa Bate, Executive Vice President for the Americas, Global Advisory Services and Executive Sponsor for LRQA Sustainability, added:
“As we support organisations around the world in managing risk and driving sustainable growth, it's important that we hold ourselves to the same high standards we encourage in others. Our clients look to LRQA for trusted expertise in sustainability, and we’re proud to lead by example.”
Every day, LRQA helps clients navigate risk and seize opportunities to build safer, more secure and more sustainable businesses. Achieving EcoVadis Gold reflects our commitment to applying those same principles across our own organisation.
