Over the past few years, the sustainability agenda for businesses has rapidly shifted from whether action is needed to how companies can take action, how far they need to go, and how progress can be demonstrated. From corporate carbon accounting, Scope 3 emissions, and supply chain carbon management to science-based targets, energy efficiency, renewable energy procurement, and product carbon footprints, decarbonization is increasingly becoming part of core business operations, procurement, investment, and supply chain management.
The challenge is no longer simply about setting targets. It is about turning those targets into practical, measurable, and scalable decarbonization pathways.
This is one of the key reasons RESET Carbon sees Energy Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan as such an important platform. The energy transition and the journey to net zero cannot be achieved through a single technology or led by a single business function. Companies need to understand evolving policies and international standards, gain visibility into their emissions and energy use, identify key decarbonization opportunities, and assess the technical and commercial feasibility of different energy and investment solutions.
