LRQA [LR] has successfully transitioned and meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 (Option B – ISO 9001:2015 - quality management); the accreditation has been awarded for five years.

LRQA* (LRQA) has received re-accreditation from the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) - for ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 with option B (ISO 9001:2015) including ISO/IEC TS 17021-2 and ISO/IEC TS 17021-3. ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 contains principles and requirements for the competence, consistency and impartiality of bodies providing audit and certification of all types of management systems.

ANAB concluded that LRQA has successfully transitioned and meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 (Option B – ISO 9001:2015 - quality management); the accreditation has been awarded for five years.

With the transition deadline for international quality management system standard ISO 9001:2015 set for September 2018, LRQA has already helped thousands of clients worldwide transition to the revised standard.

“Accreditation by a recognised and respected body such as ANAB ensures the impartiality and competence of LRQA and fosters confidence and acceptance of our certifications by end users in the public and private sectors,” said Chris Koci, Vice President, LRQA Management Systems Operations North America.  He adds, “We are delighted at this latest accreditation and I would also to pay tribute to the fact that this was achieved in a relatively short period after our offices were severely impacted by Hurricane Harvey in September 2017, from which we have now fully recovered.”

The ANAB accreditation follows the award of global accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) on 4 November 2015.

With all the major ISO standards being revised, LRQA is at the forefront of communicating the changes. Talk to your local client services department to book your ISO 9001:2015 transition assessment today.

*Please note that as of January 2018, we have moved to the LRQA brand and retired the LRQA name.
