LRQA has announced the acquisition of Omega Compliance, a specialist in social compliance, auditing and supply chain integrity.
The acquisition further strengthens LRQA’s capabilities in responsible sourcing, traceability and supply chain transparency, supporting clients facing increasing regulatory pressure and complexity across global supply chains.
Omega brings deep regional expertise across key sourcing hubs in China, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Turkey, alongside a strong client base in key sectors, such as retail and apparel.
The team holds strong recognised accreditations, including membership of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA) and approval as a Sedex Affiliate Audit Company (AAC). Omega also brings differentiated capabilities in supply chain security assessments, including certification by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) validations. which underpin its SCAN (Supply Chain Assessment & Analysis) programmes.
Omega also brings strong heritage as part of the wider Connor Group, a global merchandise sourcing organisation founded in 1949 with over 75 years of experience supporting major retailers and brands in managing complex international supply chains.
Combined with LRQA’s global scale, EiQ supply chain intelligence software, and broader advisory, cybersecurity and AI-enabled capabilities, the partnership with Omega enhances LRQA’s ability to deliver integrated, data-driven solutions in a key growth region.
Ian Spaulding, CEO for LRQA, said:
“This acquisition reflects our continued focus on building meaningful capability in the regions and services that matter most to our clients. Omega brings deep expertise, strong local presence and a reputation for quality that complements LRQA’s, as well as our global scale and digital capabilities. Together, we are better positioned to support clients in managing increasingly complex supply chains with greater transparency, insight and confidence.”
Jon White, Managing Director of Omega Compliance, said:
“Omega has built its reputation on integrity, transparency and trusted client relationships. Joining LRQA allows us to build on that foundation – combining our on-the-ground expertise with LRQA’s global reach and broader capabilities – while continuing to deliver the high standards our clients expect. We’re excited about what this next chapter enables for our clients and our people, and the greater impact we can achieve together.”
The acquisition supports LRQA’s broader growth strategy, accelerating capability expansion and geographic reach in key markets.
The teams will now focus on integration activities, to ensure continuity for clients, while building on the strengths of both organisations.
