- The certification requirements to become a registered auditor with the CQI & IRCA.
You will need...
- If you want to register as an OH&S management systems auditor with the CQI & IRCA, you must have successfully completed a CQI & IRCA approved auditor course in another discipline, or equivalent. If you do not meet the above criteria you should attend our five-day ISO 45001 Auditor / Lead Auditor course Knowledge of the following OH&S management principles and concepts
- Knowledge of OH&S management principles and concepts:
- The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
- The purpose and benefits of an OH&S management system
- A basic knowledge of managing OH&S through hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control and compliance with legal and other requirements
- A basic awareness of common examples of relevant national and local OH&S legislation and requirements
- Commonly used OH&S terms and definitions as given in ISO 45001
- Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 45001, which may be gained by completing LRQA's ISO 45001 Appreciation and Interpretation course or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor course.
