Introduction
Every organisation operates within its own unique culture and context. This interactive workshop is designed to draw on the knowledge and experience of participants, making learning practical and directly relevant to real-world challenges.
You will explore proven models from Kotter, Lewin, Edmondson and Tucker to support team development and manage organisational change. These approaches are widely used, practical to apply, and compatible with a range of management systems and standards, including ISO frameworks.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for leaders at all levels, including senior managers, team leaders, and professionals who influence change within their organisation. It is also suitable for individuals involved in management systems, facilitation, or those looking to strengthen their personal leadership and impact.
What Will You Learn?
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain what a quality culture is and why it matters
- Understand ISO 9001:2026 and other relevant requirements related to culture and ethical behaviour
- Identify the key conditions needed to build a positive quality culture
- Recognise the link between leadership, ethical behaviour, and organisational change
- Apply Kotter’s 8-step change model and Lewin’s force field analysis in practice
- Assess how sector-specific cultures (e.g. food safety) connect to quality culture
- Identify the factors that influence successful cultural change
- Evaluate how your own behaviour impacts organisational culture
- Develop and present an action plan to improve quality culture in your organisation
- Demonstrate leadership during change initiatives
- Make informed decisions on improvement priorities
What Do You Need to Prepare?
Prior to attending the workshop, delegates will receive an overview of ted talks, presentations and articles as preparation for attending the workshop. Part of this preparation involves an assignment to compile their own practical (organisational) example.
Between the two session days, participants are asked to prepare a practical example of a successful – or, conversely, unsuccessful – change initiative from their own context, accompanied by a short presentation in which they briefly explain the change.
