Course Introduction

The QMS lead auditor training course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to conduct on-site audits, develop effective checklists, audit processes, gather and evaluate evidence, write detailed reports, and align your findings with organizational policies and objectives.

This course offers three flexible delivery options:

  • A 38-hour virtual classroom course delivered over 5 sessions.
  • A 40-hour virtual classroom course delivered over 7 sessions.
  • A traditional 5-day face-to-face classroom course.

Pre-Requisites & Preparation

Before attending this QMS lead auditor training, participants should:

  • Have a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and previous auditing experience
  • Understand the structure of an organisation and the role of leadership
  • Complete 2.5 to 3 hours of pre-course reading material to prepare for the course

Course length

  • For in-person classroom and virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses: 5 days.
  • For blended courses: 8 hours of online learning, divided into 11 eLearning modules that can be completed over a period of up to ten days, followed by 3 full days of in-person classroom training or virtual instructor-led training (VILT).
