BIM: The Game Changer
The ISO 19650 standard is an international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using Building Information Modelling (BIM).
The use of BIM and related technologies are increasingly becoming standard practice in Hill International’s major markets and throughout its regional project operations. Hill’s teams have already been involved in delivering BIM management related services on several major projects. The ISO 19650 certification would enable Hill to consolidate, document, and integrate the acquired knowledge and expertise into their management system processes and standard practices. Hill’s support functions are centrally operated from the regional offices and cover worldwide project operations in 5 continents. When Hill decided to implement the multisite BIM ISO certification for their Middle East and APAC operations, it was very important for them to select a certification company that operates globally to ensure smooth coordination during the initial and follow-up auditing activities.
