LRQA to attend #RISK – Europe’s leading risk-focused expo

Risk is now everyone’s business.

Technical experts and senior leaders from LRQA will be attending the upcoming #RISK expo between 16 - 17 November at the ExCel London arena in the UK. #RISK is a leading European event, bringing together the ‘risk’ community to debate, learn and break down silos between sectors.

LRQA will deliver several presentations and panel discussions during the event, exploring challenges faced by clients managing risk, as well as observations from wider geopolitical events. From rising expectations around corporate sustainability, to managing supply chain issues, LRQA will share its unique perspective and experience on how the risk landscape is evolving across multiple sectors.

LRQA CEO, Paul Butcher, will appear in a panel discussion entitled ‘Risk Resilience and Enterprise Agility’, highlighting the need for businesses to rethink and transform their global supply chain models for a new era of global uncertainty. LRQA’s Chief Growth Officer, Ian Spaulding, will also deliver a presentation on ‘Trust and Transparency in ESG’, exploring how to translate evolving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) regulation into meaningful action.

Nettitude – an LRQA company – will also join a panel discussion, ‘Cyber Threat Landscape: Reviewing 2022 and Looking Ahead to 2023’, in which Karen Boulton, Managing Director of Nettitude, will discuss the continued importance of cybersecurity despite progress made in the past year.

In addition to #RISK, organisers will also host the #RISK DIGITAL event on the 29 September. #RISK DIGITAL will examine the changing risk landscape in a content rich, knowledge sharing environment, where attendees will be able to learn and better understand how to mitigate risks, reduce compliance breaches, and improve business performance.

LRQA Inspection Services experts will take part in a virtual panel discussion on energy transformation from fossil fuels to nuclear, hydrogen, solar and wind. Energy experts, Leanne Halliday, Simon Emeny and Hendrik Lau, will join LRQA Inspective Services Sales Director, Simon Payne, to discuss to path to net zero and the pre-requisite changes needed in energy production.

The #RISK and #RISK DIGITAL events will be a symposium of meaningful debate and discussion in an unprecedented age of risk management. With 5,000 attendees expected over the two-day physical event, including breakout sessions and ample opportunity for networking, it will be the largest gathering of its kind in 2022.
