Daniel Carmel

Biography

With an extensive engineering background at leading aerospace and defence firms including Rolls-Royce and MBDA Systems, Daniel has worked across entire portfolios of complex platform lifecycles before joining LRQA's Industrial Advisory and Assurance team in aerospace, defence and heavy industries specialisms. His key areas of focus are working with clients to deliver dedicated business assurance and resilience strategies, transforming infrastructure and operational efficiencies to meet today's challenges.

Over the last 14 years, Daniel has led consultancy projects to improve clients' operational management, delivering real-time performance and compliance improvements, to sustainable processes and materials, embedding a circular economy mindset and implementing secure, lean and agile manufacturing through an IoT-led process approach.

Daniel has formerly held lead aerospace auditor roles at major certification bodies and is a contributor to leading aerospace and defence industry periodicals including: Aerospace Manufacturing, Engineering Materials and FlightGlobal.
