Produce safe consumer products.
BRCGS Consumer Products is a certifiable standard that sets out requirements for manufacturers or assembly packing companies to meet in order to produce safe and legal products of consistent quality.
BRCGS Consumer Products
Overview
BRCGS Consumer Products has been developed to give added confidence to customers that relevant legislative and/or safety requirements have been met and that the products they buy are safe to use.
The BRCGS Consumer Products Standard covers the majority of non-food consumer and household goods including everything from toys to greeting cards, DIY items to white goods, textiles, furniture and non-prescription pharmaceuticals.
Benefits of BRCGS Consumer Products
Flexibility
With Foundation and Higher-level options, you can choose the level that best suits your supply chain.
Best practice
The standard supports consistency of production for sector-specific product requirements such as Toy Safety Directive and Low Voltage Directive and helps manufacturers meeting Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
Cost-effective
There are no hidden costs to gaining certification and it may even save you money in the long run by helping to reduce costly mistakes.
