The BIM process involves digitally constructing a facility before it is built, helping solve possible problems, analyse potential impacts, as well as improve safety. LRQA is proud of its role in developing and enhancing BIM services for the industry, having been chosen to take part in the pilot assessment programme for ISO 19650-2:2018 certification in 2020. The main aim of the programme was for UKAS to confirm how applicable the relevant standards were to various organisations and identify any areas which needed further guidance and transparency.
