What the calculator gives you
The LRQA PED Calculator gives you an indicative classification for your pressure equipment under Directive 2014/68/EU. Enter a few details like your design pressure, volume or nominal size, fluid and phase, and the calculator will return the category and the modules available for it. It also shows where your equipment sits on the relevant PED table.

The result is guidance only and must be confirmed by a qualified PED expert; LRQA accepts no responsibility for the results or for any decision taken on the basis of them.
Category II, III or IV? You'll need a Notified Body.
For equipment in Categories II, III and IV, assessment by an accredited notified body is a legal requirement, not a choice. LRQA is an accredited notified body supplying both the British and European markets. Run the calculator, then get in touch and an expert will confirm your classification and set out your route to market.
