Introduction
Sam Nunn is a sustainability and decarbonisation specialist with a background in chemical engineering and practical experience delivering emissions reduction programmes across complex industrial and manufacturing environments. At RESETcarbon, he works with companies across Asia to develop and implement realistic, data-driven pathways to net zero.
Biography
Sam began his career in chemical engineering after witnessing the environmental impact of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2011, which inspired his commitment to supporting the transition away from fossil fuels and tackling climate change through industry action.
Before joining RESETcarbon, Sam spent seven years working within the construction industry, where he gained first-hand insight into the operational and cultural challenges organisations face when implementing sustainability initiatives at scale. This experience shaped his practical and implementation-focused approach to decarbonisation.
As Director at RESETcarbon, Sam supports organisations across Asia in developing science-based and commercially realistic decarbonisation strategies. He works closely with clients and their supply chains to create actionable roadmaps grounded in operational realities, combining technical expertise with on-the-ground implementation support.
RESETcarbon specialises exclusively in carbon management and has supported some of Asia’s largest companies in setting Science-Based Targets, developing supplier engagement programmes and reducing emissions across global manufacturing operations. Through this work, Sam has helped organisations move beyond high-level ambition towards measurable and lasting emissions reductions.
