Value Stream Mapping (VSM).

Value stream mapping is a tool that is used to map the current state of a process and identify the inefficiencies, bottlenecks, quality problems, and delays that exist in a process. A future state map is used to architect the future plan after applying lean and kaizen concepts in order to introduce flow and pull to the process.

VCM provides maximum value through a complete "value creation process" with minimum waste in: Design (concept to customer) Build (order to delivery) Sustain (in-use through life cycle to service)
