ISO 17025:2017 Implementation & Internal Auditing

The standards are management systems standards that set out the requirements for for establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining, and continually improving Lab Competency management systems.  

By the end of this course, delegates will learn: 

• Explain the purpose and structure of management systems standards and the scope of ISO 17025 
• Interpret the main requirements of the ISO 17025 in relation to General, Structural, Resources, Process requirements and Risk-based thinking 
• The process of Review of requests, tenders, and contracts 
• Selection, verification and validation of methods and Sampling 
• The Process of Handling of test or calibration items, Technical records, Evaluation of measurement uncertainty, Ensuring the validity of results, Reporting of results 

• Roles and responsibilities of Internal Auditors  
• Pre audit activities and audit planning  
• Checklist preparation and Conducting audits  
• Identification of non-conformities and Reporting 

The course targets those who are involved in labs operation, and those who are intersted to gain qulaification to internally audit labs competency management system based on the requirements of the ISO 17025:2017 standards
