Introducción
Laura Curtze is an Associate Director in LRQA’s Advisory team, specialising in human rights strategy and due diligence. With extensive experience advising companies, public organisations and multi-stakeholder initiatives, Laura helps clients navigate complex human rights challenges across global value chains. Her work spans risk and saliency assessments, governance and strategy development, grievance mechanisms and capacity-building.
Biografía
Laura supports LRQA’s corporate clients on human rights due diligence and strategy, value chain risk assessments, benchmarking, gap analyses and remedy frameworks. She has led projects to identify salient human rights issues, develop action plans and governance structures, and integrate human rights KPIs into business performance. Laura has spearheaded consultancies for leading corporations in a range of sectors, including retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, finance, energy, FMCG or sports.
Laura joined LRQA when Ergon Associates became a part of the business. Prior to joining Ergon, Laura led the social sustainability programme at UN Global Compact Network Germany. As Director for Human Rights and Labour, she represented the Network to international and national stakeholders and contributed to the German federal government’s working group on business and human rights.
Laura holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies and a BA in Political Science from the University of Munich.
