- Preparation and planning for audit operations to evaluate compliance with the guideline's requirements.
- Building the capacity to link audit results across different processes in order to draw objective conclusions about compliance levels, effectiveness, and overall audit outcomes.
- How to build checklists as part of the preparation process for auditing.
- How to effectively search for and obtain objective evidence by conducting interviews with audited parties and reviewing samples of documents and records.
- How to assess objective evidence and determine its adequacy in achieving the required levels of compliance and effectiveness.
- How to write non-conformity case reports and ensure clarity in their key elements, enabling corrective actions to be taken.
Course preparation
- Read the pre-course pack.
- Be familiar with internal auditing skills and techniques.
- Familiarise yourself with international human rights and labour rights laws, as well as ISO 26000.
- A working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 37001, ISO 14064, and governance management system standards will be beneficial.
