Introduction
Sarah is a Senior Consultant in LRQA’s Advisory team, bringing over a decade of experience in labour, human rights and development programming. Sarah leads major research projects for international organisations as well as in-company capacity-building programmes on labour rights and employment issues across various sectors, including finance, energy or transport. Her work combines strategic advisory, policy development and practical implementation.
Biography
Sarah specialises in advising development finance institutions and private sector clients on labour and employment issues, with a focus on integrating relevant human rights into investment strategies and operational practices. Her expertise includes strategic and transaction-specific advisory, guidance on women’s employment and gender equality in the workplace, and policy and research support for international organisations. Sarah has delivered projects for the European Union, International Labour Organization (ILO) and other global institutions.
She has worked extensively across emerging economies, providing technical cooperation, facilitating organisational learning and delivering training programmes that build internal capacity and strengthen compliance with international labour standards.
Sarah joined LRQA when Ergon Associates integrated the business. Before joining Ergon, Sarah was a consultant at the ILO office in Bangkok, working across Southeast Asia on child labour initiatives. Sarah holds an MA in Global Development and International Political Economy from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics.
