Introduction
Brett Dodge is a Senior Consultant in LRQA’s Advisory team and a specialist for human rights in agriculture and primary sector supply chains. With over a decade of experience, Brett leads delivery of research, stakeholder engagement and practical tools to help organisations address labour and human rights risks in complex agrifood systems. His work spans programme design, due diligence and capacity-building, supporting clients to turn insights into action.
Biography
Brett joined LRQA when Ergon Associates became a part of the business. He has designed and delivered projects for corporate clients and multi-stakeholder initiatives across global agrifood supply chains. His expertise includes designing and launching country programmes for standards organisations, integrating lessons from forced labour due diligence, and developing tools to monitor human rights risks. Brett also conducts quantitative analysis on wages and fair pay in global production chains and delivers training and workshops for businesses and civil society.
Brett has carried out extensive field research on labour conditions in sectors such as tea, coffee, cocoa, seafood, textiles and horticulture across numerous geographies, including India, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Turkey.
Brett has an extensive background in business and human rights and international labour standards. He holds an LLM in International Human Rights from the University of Essex and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
