Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Farm Standard V1.0.1 checklist
Audit Readiness Checklist
Use this checklist and find out if you are sufficiently prepared for ASC Farm Standard certification.
This tool is designed to help aquaculture producers and their teams assess systems and processes against the requirements of the ASC Farm Standard V1.0.1 (effective 1 August 2025, mandatory from 1 May 2027). Use it to check compliance, record evidence and identify areas for improvement before your audit.
The checklist is structured around the four Principles and all Criteria of the ASC Farm Standard V1.0.1. It incorporates non-substantive corrections and clarifications published in August 2025.
Many indicators within the ASC Farm Standard are species- or system-specific. Where an indicator is not applicable to your operation, mark it as N/A and provide a brief explanation in the Comments column. LRQA accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies in or changes to this checklist. Always refer to the official ASC Farm Standard V1.0.1 for the authoritative requirements.
