ISO 9001:2026 | Published | Transition underway
ISO 9001: 2026 has now been published, beginning the next stage for organisations certified to ISO 9001:2015. Expected transition deadline in 2029. Now is the time to understand the final requirements, consider what they mean for your quality management system and identify where changes may be needed. Starting with a clear view of your current system will help you prioritise activity and build a transition plan that works for your organisation.

ISO 14001:2026 | Published | Transition underway
ISO 14001: 2026 was published in April 2026 and the transition period is now underway. Organisations must transition before May 2029. For certified organisations, the focus should now be on understanding how the revised requirements apply to your existing environmental management system, identifying any gaps and making the changes needed to support a controlled transition.

ISO 45001 | Revision underway
ISO 45001 is progressing through its revision, with the updated standard still moving through the standards development process. There is no need to begin a formal transition yet. Instead, keep informed about the direction of the revision, understand the emerging changes and make sure the right people in your organisation are aware of developments. LRQA will continue to provide guidance as the revision progresses and the final requirements become clearer.
