CAREERS

From application to onboarding

How do I apply for a job?

Search our latest vacancies to find an available opportunity of interest to you. Select the “Apply Now” button and complete the online application form. You need to register for an account on our careers portal, if you do not have one yet.
Please note:  We do not accept applications through the website form or email.

I can't find the right job for me on the website. Can I still apply?

If you can’t see anything to suit you right now, make sure you hear about your perfect job as soon as it’s live, by joining our talent community. You’ll receive an email as soon as a job matching your criteria is published and of course, we won’t use your details for any other purpose.

What is the recruitment process?

It varies depending on the type of position you’ve applied for, but you can typically expect a mix of interviews, assessment centres and testing appropriate to the role. After applying, you’ll receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours and throughout the process you’ll be kept up to date - whether you’ve been successful or not, and what the next steps are.

How long should it take?

This varies from role to role but we respond to every candidate with an outcome as soon as possible. We appreciate it’s sometimes hard work applying for jobs and aim to make sure you know the decision or next steps at the earliest time.

If I have a question about my application, how do I get in touch?

Please send all enquiries to careers@lrqa.com (but remember, please don’t send speculative applications, CVs or résumés to us as we cannot respond!).

Why haven’t I been offered an interview?

Unfortunately, we can’t interview everybody who applies, and invite only those with the most relevant skills and experience suited to the role to interview. We receive such a large number of applications that we cannot offer feedback to each application so make sure you read the role profile carefully when completing your application. Having said that, if you know you have a valuable and impressive skillset but don’t tick some requirements, make sure you highlight the transferable skills that you do have – it will help your application stand out!

How will LRQA treat my data?

We will store the details you provide when joining the Talent Community for 12 months, unless you write to request that we delete your personal record. These records enable us to search against candidate profiles with specific skill sets, should we identify specific recruitment needs in the future, so you’ll find out about new jobs matching your future career aspirations before anyone else.

Does LRQA value diversity in the workplace and promote an inclusive culture?

Absolutely, we understand how recruiting people representing every group within our society builds a successful, profitable and above all else, happy place to work. Every effort is made to ensure inclusivity at every stage of the application process, including the questions we ask, the language we use, the people you will meet, and the ways in which we assess and select candidates.

Should you require reasonable adjustments in order to attend your interview, just let us know when accepting the invitation.
