LRQA becomes participant of United Nations Global Compact

LRQA is pleased to be a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), further strengthening our commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assurance.

As a leading global assurance partner and ESG advisor for global supply chains, this is an important step in demonstrating our credibility, as well as our culture of doing the right thing for our colleagues, clients, communities, stakeholders and planet.

The UNGC is a voluntary initiative that aims to mobilise a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create a world that we all want. The UNGC supports companies to align their strategies with ten principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

The initiative also encourages companies to take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

The UNGC spans across borders and industries, helping to implement responsible practices to address social responsibility, which is completely aligned to LRQA’s core values.
