Following updates to TS requirements in 2016, LRQA's IATF 16949 gap analysis service assesses your existing quality management system against the newly-published IATF 16949 standard to report on the compliance of your current system and help you to define a certification plan as necessary.

IATF 16949 applies to the design and development, production, installation and servicing of automotive-related products. The updated TS standard was developed in collaboration with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and replaces ISO/TS 16949 with all organizations now required to have implemented the revised management systems in line with current IATF 16949 requirements.

As one of a limited number of recognised certification bodies with SMMT approval, LRQA provides IATF 16949 certification services at a global level.
