Her expertise spans auditing principles and the broader control of food safety, product quality, authenticity and legality. Building from a strong foundation in food science, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Michigan State University, she has developed deep sector insight that underpins her work with food businesses around the world.
Biography
Kimberly has extensive experience as a technical professional specialising in design, development, implementation, assessment and training within the arena of retail-agrifood risk management systems specifically relating to auditing principles – and more broadly, the control of food safety, product quality, authenticity and legality.
Over the past 30 years, Kimberly has worked for and with leading food and beverage manufacturers, leading retailers and associated supply chain organisations across the USA, Latin America, Asia and Australia/New Zealand in various technical management and strategic customer relationship roles.
Qualifications
Kimberly holds formal qualifications in food science, (Bachelor of Science, Michigan State University, USA), management systems auditing as well as professional education and training. She was recognized for her contribution to the Australian food industry as the 2010 Australian HACCP Conference Award Winner – Outstanding Individual Working in a Non-Industry Institution. She is a regular contributor to global food conference programmes.
