Booking (Provisional bookings)
You can reserve places on any of our public events (subject to availability) by contacting our Training Advisors. Provisional places are normally held for 10 working days.
Confirmed bookings
We require you to confirm your booking in writing. Full joining instructions and relevant course information will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed. Normally we will send you this information approximately two weeks prior to the event date, unless you make a late booking. Once you have confirmed your booking, our cancellation policy applies from the date of receipt of your written confirmation.
Fees and payment
The fee is payable before the event and on confirmation of booking. The booking will remain provisional until a payment, purchase order or written confirmation to invoice is received. Please make cheques payable to “LRQA of Shipping (M) Bhd”. If your organisation has a special documented agreement with us regarding payment that arrangement will apply. The fee for each event includes course notes, refreshments and lunch for each day of the event.
Cancelling your booking
After you confirm your training place, we frequently refuse other bookings for that place. It therefore our policy to make a full charge of the event fee if you withdraw for any reason during the 21 working days prior to, and including, the start date. If you cancel more than 21 working days prior to, and including the start date, a charge of 50% of the fee will be payable. All cancellations are effective from the date of receipt of written notification.
Delegates Substitutions
You may substitute a suitable delegate at any time at no charge. Please advise us of any changes to delegate names in writing and as soon as possible.
Transferring your confirmed place to another training date
Transfer requests during the 10 working days prior to, and including, the start date of the course cannot be accepted and will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges will apply.
For transfer between 11-20 working days prior to, and including the start date, where we are able to offer you a suitable alternative.
Please note

If you cancel for any reason between 11-20 working days prior to, and including, the start date, a charge of 50% of the fee will be payable.
