UKCA MARKING

What does it mean for manufacturers?

During our recent UKCA Webinars, we received dozens of questions from the audience about what the changes in legislation will mean for them, when selling into Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the EU.

In this guide, LRQA's UK&I Area Technical Quality Manager for Inspection Services, Robert Pennycook, highlights the key changes and answers the top 10 audience questions relating to UKCA, UKNI and CE marking.

This guide has been updated following the Government announcement on 24 August 2021 that gives businesses an extra year to start using the UKCA marking. The UK Government has extended the deadline from 1 January 2022 to 1 January 2023 to demonstrate compliance with product safety regulations.
