Moving beyond assessment: Practical approaches to HRDD in the Seafood Sector
One-day workshop
The Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET) and the Consortium on Social Risks in Seafood—comprised of LRQA, Conservation International, FishWise, and Ocean Outcomes—are pleased to host a free, in‑depth session at the Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona: Moving Beyond Assessment: Practical Approaches to Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) in the Seafood Sector.
As companies advance their HRDD programs and uncover social risks, the next challenge is clear: how to move from assessment to meaningful action and worker engagement. This multi‑session afternoon event will bring together a range of practitioners who are implementing practical solutions across global seafood supply chains. Attendees will explore common barriers to progressing HRDD efforts, examine real-world case studies, and gain access to tools and resources that can support HRDD implementation at any stage.
This is a closed‑door, invitation‑only event for FNET members, ETI members, and Consortium partners. Seafood Expo Global registration is not required, and there is no event fee. Once registered, you are welcome to attend any of the sessions on the agenda. Lunch will be provided.
