ASC Group Certification requirements.

Among standards related to the farmed fish and shrimp, demand for ASC standard that establishes protocol on farmed seafood while ensuring sustainable aquaculture has been increasing in the past couple of years due to policy related to the sustainable sourcing of certified products from big retailers in the globe. Nowadays, ASC has launched the new scheme which will make ASC certification more accessible for small producers. This program is, in particular, most applicable for small producers who is majority of fish/shrimp producers in Thailand. In order to get the right interpretation on the new version of ASC group certification, LRQA is pleased to announce 1 day public training course for all operators who are eligible to get ASC group certified either fish and shrimp producers or processing plants who are the sponsor of the farms to update the new requirements of the ASC group certification requirements and also relative normative documents
