How can you manage Corporate Responsibility?

Our approach to Corporate Responsibility Training.

Corporate Responsibility incorporates not only what companies do with their profits, but also how they make them. It addresses how companies manage their economic, social, and environmental impacts, as well as their relationships in all areas of influence: the workplace, the marketplace, the supply chain, and the community.

LRQA is introducing a new way of learning and developing all the skills needed to deliver Corporate Responsibility within your organisation. Unlike many business processes, Corporate Responsibility is an interconnected web of directly and indirectly related aspects. Every organisation is unique in terms of its balance of issues, their management and strategic importance and the people involved both internally and externally.  Building a coherent approach to Corporate Responsibility may use existing systems and business processes, some of which might be certified systems. Critical success in Corporate Responsibility occurs when all the right elements are identified and objectives are clear.

Our Approach to Corporate Responsibility Training

LRQA's approach is to work in a coaching and mentoring capacity to support all the managers involved in Corporate Responsibility to work effectively together, while at the same time allowing them to deliver their particular objectives. We think this is like a giant “CR Jigsaw”.

Corporate Responsibility embraces all aspects of running a successful and reputable business. From the people it attracts to work for it, how they are treated, the way customer value is created and delivered, community involvement, governance and supplier management. The individual jigsaw pieces will differ from one organisation to another, and their importance will change over time. This complex and dynamic nature to Corporate Responsibility needs a flexible and involved approach to learning, personal development and problem solving.

By asking the right questions and providing the right support your team will find the pieces and fit them together. We call this Interactive and Progressive CR Coaching.

Interactive and Progressive CR Coaching works in a number of different ways, using a variety of methods and draws on the collective expertise of the LRQA coaches and mentors.

Our experienced coaches will assist your team to get started, using facilitated, cross-departmental workshops, Your team will grow into their new responsibilities and will explore new and different methods in order to find the most suited to themselves and to the business.

Here are some organisation projects that would benefit from LRQA Corporate Responsibility coaching:
