The continuously changing global marketplace requires increasing agility from companies wanting to operate successfully.
Our voice on manufacturing regulatory support
Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in regulatory product compliance, from European CE marking requirements to other international technical and administrative requirements for placing products on the global marketplace. As an MBA, and therefore a non-technically educated person Chris considers himself a ‘translator ‘between the legally formulated technical regulations and the information that engineers actually need in order to design, manufacture and market their product in compliance with these regulations.
This requires a wide range of understanding of disciplines, technologies and products coupled with a broad knowledge base of International Technical Regulations. LRQA’ international network of offices ensures that we can provide local support where required, for instance for matters such as interfacing with local regulatory authorities involved in product approvals, or for verification of the correct compliance procedures.
As statutory support engineer Chris is able to act flexibly and creatively to provide clients with the custom-built service they need.
