Overview

The qualification of welders and welding operators by a third party organisation is required for most safety-critical, pressure-related manufacturing and fabrication.

This is done through welder qualification tests. The tests allow welders to demonstrate their ability to follow verbal and written welding instructions according to a national code, standard or regulation.

LRQA is able to provide this service in two ways:

LRQA attends the clients' facilities directly
LRQA attends the welding school

Looking for your LRQA-issued welding certificate, or looking to renew your LR-endorsed certificate?

LRQA does not provide copies of any welding certificates we endorse. These certificates are issued through academic centres or through companies’ internal welding qualification tests. These certificates can ONLY be re-issued through the original issuing organisation or company.
