Gibdock demonstrates its commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)
An audit by LRQA in July 2018 confirmed that the Gibraltar shipyard is fully compliant with the requirements of ISO 45001, the new OH&S management system standard that was published in March this year.

RSP Systems achieves ISO 13485:2016 certification (Medical Devices)
RSP Systems, the non-invasive diagnostics company based in Denmark has been awarded ISO 13485:2016 certification, demonstrating commitment to placing its non-invasive glucose meter for diabetes management on the market.
RSP System’s CEO, Andreas Jenne, says, “This is the first tangible result from a focused process, starting with putting a great team together, dedicating resources and now demonstrating the ability of the team to deliver. This bodes well for the overall success of our regulatory program.”
New Zealand’s fisheries maintain sustainability (Food)
The New Zealand hoki, hake, ling and southern blue whiting fisheries have been recertified against the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Fisheries Standard. The assessments were carried out over a 12-month period by LRQA, proving that each of these fisheries are well managed with healthy stocks and harvest strategies in place.
“Achieving MSC certification recognises the ecosystem approach to fisheries management in New Zealand as embedded within the Quota Management System and confirms these fisheries’ contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the UN Aichi Biodiversity Targets,” said George Clement, CEO of Deepwater Group, the client representative of the certified fisheries.
