Overview

As a leading global provider of BRCGS Food Safety audits, LRQA works with food manufacturers of all sizes to provide the audit you need; whether a multi-site global manufacturer or smaller enterprise.

In addition to Food Safety, LRQA also delivers audits for the BRCGS Storage and Distribution, and BRCGS Packaging and Packing Materials standards.

Culture module

The Culture Module assessment can be carried out at any time, by any food business. It involves an employee questionnaire with answers measured across four categories to provide a means to evaluate your food safety culture through identifying areas for development. Results are measured over time, giving manufacturers access to anonymised benchmark data.

Traded goods module

The Traded Goods module applies to packaging and materials purchased and stored on site prior to sale. This additional module enables manufacturers to include traded goods in the BRCGS Global Standards audit.

FSMA module

To align with the US Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), manufacturers can add the FSMA Voluntary Module to a BRC Global Standard for Food Safety audit. The module bridges the gap between FSMA and BRC Standard requirements and is essential for sites which work with, or plan to work with, US-based customers.

Association of European Coeliac Societies (AOECS)

This module applies to manufacturers producing gluten-free food products according to the AOECS standard. Although the module is globally relevant, it has been developed based on European legislation and the requirements of the AOECS.

Impartiality

We maintain our impartiality by proactively managing conflicts of interest across all LRQA businesses including those which may exist between consultancy and third-party certification services. Click here to learn more
