On signing a contract agreement with LRQA, clients can submit a PDD or PoA-DD for validation; a CPA for inclusion or Monitoring report for verification. After completing the completeness check, LRQA uploads the documents to the UNFCCC website to commence the validation/ verification process.
A desktop review is carried out to seek additional information on the project as necessary. On review of the additional information provided, a Site visit plan is prepared and a site visit is undertaken.
On completion of the site visit, a draft validation/ verification report is presented to the client for actions. Supporting evidence presented by clients is reviewed to determine closure. On closure of all findings raised, a formal report is prepared.
LRQA holds a two stage review process. The report is presented to authorised Technical Reviewer. Any findings from Technical Reviewer is addressed by the Team Leader. On closure of the Technical Review findings, the report package is presented to an authorised Decision Maker. On approval from the Decision Maker, client’s approval is sought and the report package is uploaded to UNFCCC requesting registration or issuance.
