LRQA deliver ISO 28000 Implementation Training in Thailand

LRQA Thailand held a successful two day ISO 28000 Implementation Training Course in Bangkok on 29 – 30 July 2010.
The delegates who attendedthe courses were from sectors such as Aviation, Ports and Terminals, Manufacturing, Food, Trucking, Healthcare, Logistics and Distribution as well as representatives from the National Accreditation Council of Thailand.
ISO 28000 is an international supply chain security management system standard. It offers organisations working within, or relying on, the logistics industry, a framework that identifys aspects critical to the security assurance of their supply chain. These aspects include, but are not limited to, financing, manufacturing, information management and the facilities for packing, storing and the transferring of goods between modes of transport and locations. The training is aimed at providing clients with the necessary skills and knowledge on how to implement and get the best out of their supply chain security management system.
Further training and additional information sessions are to be planned in Thailand, including discussions with the National Accreditation Council.
The immediate feedback has been positive with a high level of interest expressed in other training products, particularly Security Risk Assessment.
