Organisations in Asia still producing CSR reports despite the downturn

Recent report by leading regional CSR consultancy, CSR Asia and supported by LRQA Taiwan, reveals that CSR reports are still an important factor of many organisations within Asia.

The report reflected a growing market need in the CSR/sustainability reporting arena, with increasing numbers of organisations globally producing CSR reports despite the economic downturn. In Asia, LRQA is taking an active role in verifying the accuracy of these reports.
CSR Asia Director, John Rowley addressed the launch event, which was held at Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong and attended by members of the Hong Kong business community, academics and CSR professionals.
During the event the owners of the Hotel, part of Hong Kong Shanghai Hotels Limited, used the event to acknowledge the role that LRQA’s verification services play in enhancing the credibility of its own CSR reporting.
