LRQA to attend the 12th European Conference for IAEE

LRQA will sponsor the 12th European Conference for the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) taking place on 9 to 12 September 2012 at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy.

 

LRQA will sponsor the 12th European Conference for the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), the most qualified associative body involved in energy studies, taking place on 9 to 12 September 2012 at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy.

 

The conference will deal with the important changes underway in the global energy sector and concerning environmental implications related to the CO2 emissions, as well as the issues ranging from the development of the renewable sources to nuclear power and fossil fuels.

 

Madlen King, Global Head of Climate Change and Sustainability for LRQA, will be speaking on 10 September about the weaknesses of existing carbon markets to mitigate climate change and the need for consumption based carbon reporting at the 'Climate Change: the challenge' session.

 

On the same day Vincenzo Patti, Managing Director, LRQA Italy will chair the  ‘Energy supply and security’ session and the following day, Elena Cervasio, Business Development Manager, LRQA Italy will present Environmental Footprints (Carbon Water Waste), tools for monitoring costs and energy efficiency throughout the supply chain.
