LRQA France has certified Eau du Sud Parisien to the Energy Management Standard ISO 50001 for its drinking water production plant
LRQA France has certified Eau du Sud Parisien to the Energy Management Standard ISO 50001 for its drinking water production plant. Eau du Sud Parisien is a leading French company within the water and sanitation sectors and is a subsidiary of Lyonnaise des Eaux. A copy of the client's external press release can be read here.
With energy costs being one of the major expenditures in water provision, Eau du Sud Parisien is expecting its energy management system to help them reduce and control energy consumption.
Following the completion of the four-day audit, the LRQA assessor stressed “the involvement and interest of all employees with the implementation of ISO 50001 is a major tool for the continuous improvement of organisational performance."
