Successful OHSAS, EMS and Businss Assurance seminar in Vietnam

Workshop on OHSAS, EMS and Business Assurance conducted by LRQA team in Vung Tau, Vietnam.
LRQA Vietnam, recently conducted a workshop on OHSAS, Environmental Managament Systems and LRQA Business Assurance. The workshop was attended by many existing and potential clients in the oil & gas, and shipyard industries.
The one-day workshop was a huge success and it attracted over 60 participants which included OHS managers, experts and relevant industry people from 25 different companies in the oil & gas, and shipyard sector.
Speaker, Dinh Viet Thong engaged the attendees in discussions and group work and also shared information related to OHSAS. Nguyen Tri Thang, Deputy Operations Manager, LRQA Vietnam, shared information about the ISO 14001 requirements and implementation. Thang also shared with the participants the recent developments at LRQA Vietnam and how LRQA Business Assurance is and should be adding value to the service they recieve from lRQA.
Ha Huy Tho, HSSE Manager of PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard Company, expressed his appreciation for LRQA Vietnam for organising this informative workshop. He also shared with other participants how his company, recently certified by LRQA, has benefited from gaining OHSAS 18001:2007.
